Ms. Rau is an experienced domestic
litigator and has earned the respect of the Courts
and her peers in running a comprehensive,
compassionate and detail oriented practice.
Ms. Rau attended the University of
Massachusetts-Boston where she earned her
undergraduate degree in Philosophy. While at
UMASS, Ms. Rau was awarded the Book Prize for
Outstanding Scholarship in The Study of Philosophy
and she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Rau also
managed a Boston area bookstore and served as a
philosophy tutor while in school.

After graduating from UMASS, Ms.
Rau attended Suffolk University Law School in
Boston where she earned awards in oral advocacy
and distinction on moot court activities. She also
undertook and completed and honors project in
constitutional legal theory and served as law
clerk to the Chief Judge of the Probate and Family
Court in Middlesex County, MA.
Upon graduation from law school,
Ms. Rau worked in legal services focusing
primarily on domestic relations and poverty law
before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000.

Since she moved to Nevada, Ms. Rau
has worked at a number of prestigious litigation
firms. Ms. Rau was also unanimously appointed to
serve as Judge Pro Tem in the areas of
Guardianship and Discovery at the Clark County
Family Court. Ms. Rau is a member of the Family
Law Section of The Nevada State Bar, the National
Association of Women Business Owners and maintains
her membership in good standing of the
Massachusetts State Bar. Ms. Rau is admitted to
practice in both State and Federal Court in
Nevada.
In her free time, Ms. Rau is an
avid music fan, enjoys watching baseball, reading
and travel.
